Our Junior section has been running since the mid  70’s, and the club has always’s supported the junior section. We always’s try to make fishing more attractive as well as learning to fish with a group, getting children out into the environment and making them more aware of nature and the dangers that could arise . We make the fishing events challenging which most juniors rise to, learning their own potential skills and enjoyment. Teaching them how to cast, make their own traces and fish with conservation a premium. In recent years our juniors under the supervision of Mr Barry Eggleton has sent two of our juniors to represent England  coming home with gold team medals.  The juniors fish in Stokes Bay also on Gosport Pier parents are welcome to come on the events with their child, which we find the child welcomes, boys and girls from  8 yrs of age to 16 yrs are welcome.

A couple of evenings a month they socialise in our clubhouse.

The junior section has in the past hosted around 12 Open Beach Competitions over the years attracting juniors from all from the South Coast.
