Some members visited the Boat Life Show at the NEC at Birmingham on 16th February 2024.

If the show is on next year we will attempt to get some more members to join us as we all have a very enjoyable day it was well worth the visit

The Suzuki fishing team  were at the show, not only showing off their vessels that were on display but they also had a fishing simulator, any member of the public could battle with a Tuna, sailfish and many more species, the battle  could last for some time and  from watching it looked like hard work.

We did enquire if this type of equipment could be hired but we were told by the team it was the only one in the country and it's cost was £17,000.

Don't think our budget would stretch to that still it was fun to watch.
