Some useful information regarding boat berthing from our Boat Berth Officer
For you to apply for a boat berth (subject to availability) certain criteria needs to apply, these conditions are set out below.
As part of the club ruling with regards to boats in the compound you would need to supply the boat berth officer with a photograph of the boat to determine whether it will be eligible, the boat must be in a seaworthy condition and must be on a roadworthy trailer.
Our club Rule 3.10 states that all boats in the compound must have a certificate of Insurance with a minimum of third-party cover.
Our lease regulations states that there will be no boats allowed over 6 metres.
The club will not accept speed boats or Ribs and kayaks it must be a fishing boat
If you boat is eligible you will have to apply for membership to the club first (if you hold no membership to the club), once this have been approved and the boat berth officer has also approved your boat and the appropriate berth forms have been completed together with a copy of your insurance then you will be able to bring in your boat.
